Sandaig E-bike and Hike Holiday: Is it right for you?

The Inverie Munros are long walks by Munro standards, but the use of e-bikes makes them far more manageable.

Some experience of hillwalking in the UK mountains including Munros is useful, but not essential. You should be prepared for hill walks between 6 to 10 hours, plus 1 to 2 hours of e-biking.

You must be able to ride a bike. If you haven't ridden a bike for a long time, ensure you get a little practice in before you travel.

If the Munros are tackled individually, they are straight forward hill walks, with some steep and rough sections; you will have a guide to navigate the route and help you get up and down with added confidence.

If Meall Buidhe and Luinne Bheinn are climbed on the same day, it's a long hike, even after parking the e-bikes... but you are rewarded with the best mica-rich rocks and metamorphosised schist on some mild scrambling between the two summits.
